Plagiarism Policy

RUSYDA: Journal of Islamic Education and Social Studies is committed to maintaining academic integrity and the originality of every published article. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using similarity detection software before entering the review process.

Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 25% will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected directly by the editors, depending on the level and type of plagiarism identified. Similarity checks exclude references, direct quotations, and commonly used academic phrases that are considered acceptable.

The following forms of plagiarism are strictly prohibited:

  • Copying another person’s work without proper citation.
  • Using ideas, data, or research findings of others without clear attribution.
  • Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication without notifying the editor.
  • Citation manipulation and substantial duplication of content.

If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the editorial board reserves the right to take academic action, including:

  • Requesting clarification from the author.
  • Publishing corrections or official notices.
  • Retracting the article from the journal.
  • Restricting the author from future submissions for a certain period.

Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their submitted manuscripts and must ensure that all sources are properly cited according to academic standards.
